Wedding baskets are used to symbolize the different points and stages as one weaves their journey through life. There are different interpretations for the design pattern, one representing life, marriage and entry into the spirit world continues below.

The center is white and pure representing birth and the innocence of youth. As you continue circularly and come to intersect different struggles or darkness you see the darker sections. The red band represents marriage and unity, where there is no darkness. Beyond the marriage and familial bonds with time and travel you do intersect more darkness interspersed but eventually again meet the full white section without darkness. The reemergence of the white area represents the purity and sanctuary of the spirit world where there is no darkness. The white band from birth through to the edge is there to remind us that no matter what darkness we face in life, there is always a path to the light.

The diameter of the pendant is 1.25" with 1/4inch loop for a chain.
