Our classic folding pocket knife with a black blade for a modern look. This is the perfect knife for a more technical aesthetic, great for everyday carry (EDC) and collectors alike! The blade and Virobloc locking ring have been anodized for a matte black finish. The process leaves you with a knife that is still food and re-sharpening safe.

Hand wash only. Do not immerse your knife in water, as this could warp the wooden handle. Dry the blade before closing.

Blade Length: 3.2 inches
Overall Length: 7.59 inches
Weight: 1.7 oz
Includes blue gift box.

Made in France

Since 1890, Opinel has pioneered high-quality folding knives using wood from local, sustainably managed forests. The safety ring, added in 1955, locks the blade into the open position to prevent slips. The Virobloc system has since been updated to also turn to lock the blade in the closed position. The blade unfolds easily thanks to its nail groove. However, those practiced in the art can tap the heel of the handle hard on a table once and the blade will come out of the slit slightly. When open, the tip of the blade will be approximately level with the center of the ferrule's rivet.
