The weaving is the inspiration and label design of our 2023 Chardonnay The Origin.

The Spider Woman Cross symbol has been part of Diné (Navajo) weaving for centuries. The unique cross shape represents Spider Woman and the crosses woven inside the design represent her children - the Diné weavers of the past, present, and future.  The symbol appears in the American Southwest on textiles, basketry, and ceramics.
