When Joseph brought in this Art Nuevo creation of the turtle myth we suggested that Margaret Lee would be ideal to create a fine necklace to string it with. She did a marvelous job interspersing small hand made sterling silver beads with Carico Lake turquoise to create the necklace strands. Joseph’s turtle rises out of the underworld guiding the clans within the pueblo. This beautiful pendant attaches to a wonderful bale overlaid with the images of the animals that represent the clans. Accents of solid 14K gold represent the planets and moon twinkling in the starry night sky.
