My inaugural vintage of the Rive Gauche.
An elegant blend of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot made in a very small quantity to honor and thank my closest supporters.

Appellation: 100% Napa Valley
Varietal: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon- 25% Petit Verdot- 25% Cabernet Franc
Fermentation: 10 -14 day fermentation in open top and median sized fermenters all cap irrigated with peak temps of between 80 -85 F. All wine was aged in 60 gallon French barrels for 15 months; 20% New French Oak. Wines were racked every 4 months and assemble a month before bottling.
Alcohol: 14.2%
Tasting Note: Welcoming aromas of cassis and blueberry on the nose with a few notes of black olives and tobacco leaves. Elegant and bold the wine is balanced with firm yet elegant tannins. Juicy strawberry and wild berry flavors mingle in the palate with dark chocolate and hints of lavender. The finish is long and focus with lingering notes of bergamot black tea.
