Carved & painted by Hopi carver Bryson Huma, who has been carving since 1990. He is from Polacca, First Mesa, AZ. 

Also called the curing kachina, it embodies the spirit to cure the sick and prayers for the growth of healing herbs. Represents the spirit of sturdiness, hard work, strength and resilience.

Hopi Kachinas are carved out of one individual piece of wood.
