Petrified wood is a fossil that forms when wood sediments get buried underground. The oxygen deprivation prevents them from decaying and, instead, the tissues get infused with minerals. They crystalize over millions of years within its cellular structure, giving this ancient material incredible patterns and hues. Handcrafted from 20 million year old trees in Indonesia, these fossilized wood pieces are sourced from the tropical forests of Indonesia and Bali Islands and fashioned into side tables, stools, consoles.
