This modern art piece, made in a traditional ledger art style depicts two Blackfeet warriors on horseback, representing a protective society called Brave Dog Society or Crazy Dog Society. The front rider is Running Eagle, a woman warrior born in the late 1700s. The male figure is Star Child. Designs on the horse represent spiritual protection. The blue triangles at the top, are the mountains (the backbone of the universe). The door inside the triangle is a star.
