Join us on June 14th for a hike and "elevated" picnic at Starry Skies Ranch, featuring Chef Ross Melling’s preparations of classic French fare like poulet rôti, deviled eggs, and more!
High Camp Vineyard at Starry Skies Ranch is a uniquely beautiful location in the Knights Valley AVA with sweeping views of the Mayacamas Mountains. The sustainably farmed 1,020 vines are planted from 930 to 980 ft elevation, with healthy soil and abundant water. This is the first time we are taking guests to this secluded vineyard.
Hike* along the mountain-fed, year round creek of Starry Skies and then up to the High Camp vineyard for a seated French-style lunch. In total it will be a 30-40 minute, medium-plus hike. Go at your own pace and discover the beauty of this undeveloped, natural world. Once at the top, we will toast with a Champagne glass overlooking the panoramic landscape. The owners will share the history of this special piece of land and the vineyard. Before lunch, Claire is preparing an exclusive wine barrel tasting experience with several vintages of the Starry Sky wines. Then we will sit down for lunch and enjoy our food with some 2021 Starry Sky and other selected Picayune wines. Bon Apétit!
Location and directions will be sent by email closer to the event.
*Shuttle available for non hikers
