This is more of a Chablis-style Chardonnay than a oaky old-Napa Chardonnay.
The Platt Vineyard is located five miles from the Pacific off the Bodega Highway, midway between the towns of Sebastopol and Bodega Bay. The With an elevation range between 400’ to 800’ the vineyards are planted on well-drained slopes in Goldridge Fine Sandy Loam soil. The site has a superb micro-climate, offering just the right amount of warmth during the day and cool nights, which leads to intensely focused and fruited wine with strong natural acidity.
